Selection Criteria
On the abstract submission form you will be asked to indicate whether you prefer a poster or an oral presentation. If you select an oral presentation, you may still be asked to make a poster presentation since there is room for less than one third of the anticipated abstracts in the oral sessions. Once the abstracts have been reviewed and accepted by the program and organizing committee members, approximately 55 will be selected for oral presentation on the basis of their compatibility with the session topics. Abstracts will be ranked and accepted based on the quality of the content and relevance to the conference topics.
We encourage all presenters to bring a final manuscript to the conference for our proceedings issue. These will be sent out by the JVSTA staff using their normal reviewing processes and criteria.
