Venue: August 15, 2005, NRC-Sussex Drive location, Ottawa
A Biophotonics and Bioelectronics Workshop will be held on Monday August 15, 2005, at the NRC-Sussex building in Ottawa.
This workshop is affiliated with the Canadian Semiconductor Technology
Conference, which begins the following day.
A separate registration fee applies for this Workshop see below for details.
Workshop Format
Researchers from industry, universities, and government laboratories will meet to present and discuss current issues and research in the biophotonics and bioelectronics fields. The goal of this workshop is to stimulate new research ideas among both bio and semiconductor researchers, as these two disciplines converge and offer exciting new possibilities for research and discovery. It is widely accepted that the next major application for semiconductors will be in the bio area. This workshop will facilitate face-to-face
discussions between the two communities.
