Scientific ProgramThe scientific program will consist of both oral and poster presentations and invited lectures. Contributors will be invited to submit full-length papers for publication. As in the previous CSTC, submitted papers will be reviewed and published as refereed papers in the March/April 2006 issue of the Journal of Vacuum Science and Technology (JVST). Publication in the JVST ensures international exposure for the papers presented at the CSTC. ORAL PRESENTATION information: Available resources: - data projector (resolution: 1024x768) with VGA connection If you are using your own portable computer for the presentation, we ask you to configure and verify its auxiliary video output beforehand, to insure a smooth flow of presentations. If you prefer to carry your presentation on a CD or USB memory card, we will also provide a computer with MS-Powerpoint 2000 installed: in this case, please avoid using non-standard fonts or video codecs. If you intend to use the conference-supplied computer instead of your own portable computer, you will have to preload and test the presentation before the first session on the day of your talk. POSTER PRESENTATION information: The poster panels measure approximately 92cm (high) by 116 cm (wide) (36"x46"). The panels are made of a a soft material that accepts Velcro tape. Self-adhesive Velcro tape will be provided at poster area at setup time. All poster sessions are the be held in the Exhibit Area (Ballroom). TUESDAY POSTER SESSION - Poster presenters presenting in the Tuesday, August 16 Poster Session may mount their poster starting at 15:30 on that day. Setup must be completed by 17:00. Authors must dismount their posters no later than 19:00 the day of their presentation. No poster storage available. WEDNESDAY POSTER SESSION - Poster presenters presenting in the Wednesday, August 17 Poster Session may mount their poster starting at 15:30 on that day. Setup must be completed by 17:00. Authors must dismount their posters no later than 19:00 the day of their presentation. No poster storage available. Official Language The official languages of the conference are English and French. Abstracts and presentations may be made in either official language. No simultaneous interpretation services will be available.
